Tiger and his prey, c.1836

A fine quality early nineteenth century bronze model of a ‘Tiger and prey’, in this case a monkey. This bronze, signed ‘FRATIN’ and stamped by the foundry ‘Quesnel’. This cast has a dark brown patina with black undertones.
