Kincsem with Madden Up, c. 1878
A fine quality, late nineteenth century bronze model of a Horse and Jockey, entitled ‘Kincsem with Madden Up’, by Isidore Bonheur (French, 1827 – 1901). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process. It is signed ‘I. Bonheur’ and has a warm brown patina with red and gold undertones.
