Water Buffalo, c. 1949
A mid twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Water Buffalo’ by Roger Godchaux (French, 1878-1958). This bronze was produced by the lost wax process. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax ‘Roger Godchaux’. It has a brown patina with red and gold highlights.
