Boar and Two Piglets, 1920
A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Boar and two Piglets’ by Georges Gardet (French, 1863-1939). This sculpture was cast by the F. Barbedienne Foundry, Paris. It is signed ‘Gardet’, inscribed ‘F. Barbedienne Fondeur Paris’, stamped ‘Bronze’ and has a dark brown and green patina.
