Calf (Genisse), c. 1909
A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a Calf entitled ‘Genisse’, by Francois Pompon, French (1855-1933). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani foundry. Prior to casting it was signed, inscribed and numbered in the wax. It has a dark brown patina.
