A pair of Elephant Bookends, c. 1925

Mahonri Young | American, 1877-1957

A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze pair of Elephant bookends by Mahonri Young (American, 1877-1957). These bronzes were produced at the Gorham Foundry, Rhode Island. Each one is signed and inscribed ‘Young’  and has a brown patina with golden undertones.
