A fine quality early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Chimpanzee’ by Louis De Monard (French, 1873-1939). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Clausde Valsuani foundry, France. It is signed ‘L de Monard’ and stamped by the C. Valsuani foundry and has a medium brown patina with warm brown undertones.
