Jean de Fiennes, c. 1895
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a Burgher of Calais, entitled ‘Jean de Fiennes’ by Auguste Rodin (French, 1840-1917). This sculpture was cast using the sand casting process at the Perzinka Foundry, Paris. It is signed and inscribed and has a dark brown patina with golden undertones.
