Albéric Collin | Belgian, 1886-1962
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Long-Eared Owl’ by Alberic Collin. This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani Foundry in Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax. It has a dark brown patina with lighter reddy brown undertones and parcel gilding to the eyes.
