Reclining Nude, c. 1900
A rare, fine quality early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Reclining Nude on a Bed’ by Paul Troubetzkoy (Russian, 1866 – 1938). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process in Italy. Before casting it was signed in the wax ‘Paolo Troubetzkoy’ and has a rich dark brown to black patina with golden highlights.
