Antoine-Louis Barye

A fine quality, mid-nineteenth century atelier bronze model of a ‘Lion and Serpent’ by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1796-1875). This bronze is signed ‘Barye’ and was cast in the sculptor’s own atelier. It has a feuille d’automne patina with green and orange undertones.
