Walking Flamingo, c. 1912
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Walking Flamingo ‘ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed, numbered and stamped in the wax ‘R. Bugatti. This cast has a rich dark brown patina with golden highlights.
