Leda, Second Version, c.1900

Aristide Maillol | French, 1861-1944

A fine quality, early twentieth century, lifetime bronze model of a seated woman entitled ‘Leda, Second Version’ by Aristide Maillol (French 1861-1944). This sculpture was cast using the sand casting process in Paris. It is signed with the artist’s monogram ‘M’ and has a dark brown patina with golden undertones.
