Eternal Spring, c. 1884
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a couple embracing entitled ‘Eternal Spring’, Second Version, 3rd Reduction, by Auguste Rodin (French, 1840-1917). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process at the Barbedienne Foundry, Paris. It is signed by the artist and inscribed by the foundry and has a brown patina with green undertones.
