Middle White Sow, 1921-1924
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a middlewhite sow “Wharfedale Royal Lady” by Herbert Haseltine (American, 1877-1962). This bronze was cast by the lost wax casting process and is signed, dated and numbered on the original marble base ‘© Haseltine MCMXXVIII’, It has a rich gilt patina with subtle dark brown and black overlay.
