Two Cats, c. 1910
A rare, fine quality ‘atelier’ bronze model of ‘Two Seated Cats, back to back, by Theophile Alexandre Steinlen (Swiss, 1859 – 1923) . This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the artist’s atelier. Prior to casting it was signed in the wax. This cast has a dark brown to black patina with reddy brown highlights.
