Mignon, 1870

Auguste Rodin | French, 1840-1917

A fine quality, rare, twentieth century bronze model of Rose Beuret entitled ‘Mignon’ by Auguste Rodin (French, 1840-1917). This bronze was produced by the sand cast process at the Alexis Rudier Foundry, Paris. It is signed ‘A. Rodin’, inscribed ‘Alexis Rudier Fondeur Paris’ and has a dark brown patina with green undertones.
