A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Bull striking a Picador’s Horse’ by Herbert Haseltine (American, 1877 – 1962). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani Foundry in Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘© Herbert Haseltine’ and ‘C. Valsuani Cire Perdue’. It has a warm brown patina and is mounted on its original antique red marble base.
