Bust of a Spaniel, c.1935
A good quality, early twentieth century bronze bust of a Spaniel by Josette Herbert-Coeffin, (French, 1908 – 1973). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Bisceglia Foundry. Before casting it was signed ‘JH Coeffin’ and it has a dark brown patina with reddy brown undertones.
