Antoine-Louis Barye

A good quality nineteenth century bronze model of a ‘Charging Bull’, entitled ‘Taureau Debout, seconde version’, by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1796-1875). This bronze, signed ‘Barye’ was cast by the Barbedienne foundry, Paris, and has a dark brown patina with red undertones.
