Prince Paul Troubetzkoy | Russian / Italian, 1866-1938
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of ‘Anna Pavlova, Seated’ by Prince Paul Troubetzkoy (Russian, 1866-1938). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Roman Bronzeworks Foundry, New York. Prior to casting it was signed, dated and inscribed in the wax. It has a dark brown patina with warm brown undertones.
