Charles-Joseph Artus

A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a crow entitled ‘Harvester of the Harvest’ by Charles-Joseph Artus (French, 1897-1978). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process at the Andro Foundry, Paris. It is signed by the artist, is marked with the artist’s monogram and is inscribed ‘Andro Fondeur, Paris’. This cast has a dark brown and black patina with golden undertones.
