Throne Chair, c.1900

Carlo Bugatti

A fine quality, early twentieth century ‘Throne Chair’ by Carlo Bugatti (Italian, 1856-1940). This piece of furniture was produced using ebonised wood and bone inlay, applied hammered copper relief and parchment. The backrest is decorated with original watercolour paintings.
