Hare Resting, c. 1920
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a Hare Resting by Sirio Tofanari (Italian, 1886-1969). This bronze was cast in Florence. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax ‘Sirio Tofanari’ and ‘Firenze’. It has a dark brown patina with golden undertones.
