A fine quality, rare, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Chameleon’ by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris, France. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘E M Sandoz’ and ‘Susse Frs Ed ts Paris’. This cast has a unique warm green patina with black and brown undertones.
