Faunesse Zoubaloff, conceived 1885

A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model entitled ‘Faunesse Zoubaloff’ by Auguste Rodin (French, 1840-1917). It was cast using the sand casting process at the Alexis Rudier Foundry, Paris. It is signed by the artist ‘Rodin’, and inscribed ‘Alexis Rudier Fondeur, Paris’ and has a rich brown patina.
