American Bison, 1908
A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of an ‘American Bison’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed, stamped and numbered in the wax. It has a deep brown and black patina with lighter brown highlights.
