Sleeping Cat in the Round, c.1910
A good quality early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Reclining Cat in the round’ by Theophile Alexandre Steinlen (Swiss, 1859 – 1923). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the A.A. Hebrard Foundry, Paris. This cast has a dark brown to black patina with golden brown highlights.
