Giraffe, c. 1870
A good quality, rare, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Giraffe’ by Alfred Barye (French, 1839-1882). This bronze, signed ‘Barye’ and inscribed ‘Patrouilleau’, has a warm brown patina with dark brown and green undertones.
