Tiger Attacking a Horse, c. 1855
A fine quality, nineteenth century bronze model of a ‘Tiger attacking a Horse’ by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1796-1875). This bronze, signed ‘BARYE’, was cast by the Susse Foundry in Paris. It has a dark brown and black patina with red and green undertones.
