Antoine-Louis Barye

A good quality nineteenth century bronze model of a ‘Running Elephant’ by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1884 – 1916). This bronze, signed ‘Barye’ and inscribed ‘F.Barbedienne Fondeur’ and with the inset gold ‘FB’ foundry seal, has a green patina with black undertones.
