Rembrandt Bugatti | Italian, 1884-1916

A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a rhinoceros entitled ‘ Rhinoceros de trois ans’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Hebrard foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed, numbered, stamped and inscribed in the wax. It has a warm brown patina with golden undertones.
