Rembrandt Bugatti | Italian, 1884-1916

A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a Rhinoceros entitled ‘RhinocĂ©ros de Java’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the HĂ©brard Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax. It has a dark brown patina with black undertones.
