Resting Sparrow, 1925
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Resting Sparrow’ by Edouard Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Susse Freres foundry. Prior to casting it was signed, inscribed, numbered and stamped in the wax. It has a multi-toned brown patina with golden undertones.
