Seated Cat, 1922

Edouard-Marcel Sandoz | Swiss, 1880-1971

A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a seated cat with long hair entitled ‘Chat, tête de face’ by Edouard Marcel Sandoz, Swiss (1880-1971). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Valsuani Foundry in Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped. It has a dark brown patina with lighter brown highlights.
