Antoine-Louis Barye

A unique, fine quality, mid-nineteenth century bronze chef-modèle of an ‘Axis stag’ by Antoine-Louis Barye, French (1796-1875). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process at the artist’s own atelier. It is signed ‘BARYE’ and has a medium brown patina.
