Standing Stallion, c. 1870
A fine quality, rare, nineteenth century bronze model of a ‘Standing Stallion’ by Isidore Bonheur (French, 1827 – 1901). This bronze, signed ‘I Bonheur’ and stamped by the Peyrol Foundry, France was cast by the sand casting process and has a medium brown patina with golden highlights.
