A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Small Seated Angora Cat’ by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen (Swiss, 1859 – 1923). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the A.A Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed, numbered and stamped in the wax and has a dark brown patina with reddy brown highlights and darker brown undertones.
