Walking Panther, c. 1940
A fine quality early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Walking Panther’ by Thierry Van Ryswyck (Belgian, 1911-1958). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Batardy foundry, Brussels. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax and has a brown patina with golden undertones.
