Sow with Piglets, c. 1870
A fine quality, rare nineteenth century bronze model of ‘Pig and Piglets’, by Isidore Bonheur (French, 1827 – 1901). This bronze, signed ‘I Bonheur’ was cast by the Peyrol Foundry, Paris. This cast has a dark brown patina with golden highlights.
