Tiger attacking an Antelope, c. 1857
A fine quality, nineteenth century large atelier bronze model of a ‘Tiger attacking an Antelope’, 1st version, by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1796-1875). This bronze is signed ‘Barye’ and was cast at the artist’s atelier. It has a medium reddy brown patina with lighter brown undertones.
