Antoine-Louis Barye

A fine quality, rare, nineteenth century bronze model of the ‘Duc d’Orleans’ by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1795-1875). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process at the Atelier Barye in Paris. It is signed ‘Barye’ and has a medium brown, dark brown, and verdigris green patina, known as feuilles d’automne.
