Eagle and Serpent, c.1874

A good quality nineteenth century bronze model of an ‘Eagle and Serpent’ by Antoine-Louis Barye, French (1796-1875). This bronze, signed ‘Barye’ was cast by the Brame Foundry and has a reddy brown patina with dark brown undertones.
