Horse attacked by a Lion, 1857
A fine quality, nineteenth century, atelier bronze model of a ‘Horse Attacked by a Lion’ by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1796-1875). This bronze, signed ‘BARYE’, was cast in the artist’s own atelier. It has a dark brown and black patina with red and green undertones.
