Walking Stork, Female, 1912
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Walking Stork ‘, entitled ‘Jabiru Femelle’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Hébrard foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax and has a dark brown patina with lighter brown undertones.
