Walking Stork, Female, 1912
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Walking Stork ‘, entitled ‘Jabiru Femelle’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Hébrard foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘Rembrandt Bugatti’, ‘A.A. Hébrard’. This bronze has a dark brown patina with lighter brown undertones.
