Two Monkeys Playing, 1911
A rare, fine quality early twentieth century bronze model of two monkeys entitled ‘Pas d’accord’, by Edouard Marcel Sandoz, Swiss (1880-1971). This sculpture was cast using the lost wax casting process at the Claude Valsuani Foundry in Paris. Before casting it was signed in the wax and inscribed. This bronze has a black patina with brown undertones.
