Rooster and Frog, c. 1912
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century impressionistic bronze model of a ‘Rooster and Frog’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This sculpture was cast using the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax. This cast has a warm brown patina with green undertones.
