Rabbit with Ear Raised, c. 1919
A fine quality, rare, twentieth century bronze mode of a ‘Rabbit with Ear Raised’ by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1881-1971). This bronze was produced using the lost wax casting process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting this bronze was signed and inscribed in the wax ‘Ed. M. Sandoz’ and has a green and brown patina with golden undertones.
