Parakeet, 1925
A good quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Parakeet’ by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris, France. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax. This cast has a warm brown patina with reddy brown highlights.
